Description

Under general supervision, learn and understand City Police Department dispatching policies, methods, and procedures; receive emergency and non-emergency calls for service through 911, radio, phone, and other communications media; dispatch law enforcement, fire, and other public safety personnel and equipment; provide telecommunications support and incident coordination for field units; learn and serve as call taker for the City of Clovis 911 Public Safety Answering Point; assist with other non-emergency responsibilities when assigned; perform general office support assignments; help and serve people in need; and to perform related work as required.
Salary: $69,360 – $84,312 Annually

Under supervision, primarily perform job functions assigned to the jail unit, interact with the public in a variety of capacities, perform prisoner transport and processing, and assist law enforcement officers in non-emergency duties as required; and to perform related work as required. May be selected to attend a California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certified Police Academy; required to maintain a good standing while attending the academy and is expected to represent themselves in a manner consistent with the philosophies and expectations of the Clovis Police Department.
Salary: $23 Hourly.

Under general supervision, on a regular or assigned shift, to perform general police work in the prevention of crime and the enforcement of law and order; to perform traffic enforcement and control; to carry out special assignments in specialized phases of police work; and to perform work as required.

Recruit Salary: $82,644 – $100,464 Annually.
Lateral Salary: $99,216 – $120,600 Annually.

Under supervision, monitors juveniles who have committed minor misdemeanor criminal offenses or are deemed out of control while they perform clean-up details throughout the City.
Salary: $20 Hourly.
